hey everyone~

thought i'd update everyone on my life:

1) work! i just started work last week. i'm only working on wednesdays right now because my supervisor is on sabbatical, and will not return until april. i'm slowly starting on working on projects... i'm researching children programs that we may want to imitate in our festival in september. it's kinda hard because my email is not set up with the organization yet... so when i email people w/ my yahoo or gmail account... i dont think they think i'm "real" so i've only gotten one or two responses... anyhoo, i'm just getting to know the organization, and i'm just enjoying my little break right now. pray that i will be able to get to know my co-workers, and really find how i fit in the office with everyone.

2) freelance graphic design. i've also been trying to do some design work on the side, but i havent been able to really put a lot of effort into it... but i better, because they are paying me, and i want to do great work for them. i've finished up 2 projects in the last couple of weeks, but still have 3 that i am working on. pray that i will find motivation and inspiration for the designs.

3) for not working full time, i'm really busy. i guess i really like being busy. :) but i do need to find time to chill and just be by myself. and i know that when april comes, i'm going to be totally crazy busy. i really want to spend this time to make good habits to take time for myself in my life: waking up early, doing morning devotions, taking walks (i like walking around the city), stuff like that.

4) my new years resolution: memorize the book of philippians in a year. i am up to phil 1: 1-19. i'm working on 20-30 right now. my goal is to finish chapter 1 by the end of march. memorizing philippians has been an intense personal bible study for me. it's soooo powerful the words that are used. and it's just really encouraging. i've never read philippians in this way before... because i'm memorizing it, i really have to understand the flow of thoughts, and the message that paul is trying to say to the philippians. it's just really cool. this is the best new years resolution i've ever done... long over due. pray that i will be able to keep it up!

my sister was google-ing prayer online the other day, and she came across this xanga! hahah she was reading, and then was like.... this is j and her college posse! hahaha i thought that was funny~ we were talking on the phone, and she tells me that it was awesome that we have this site, and to keep praying for each other.

my sister reminded me how very blessed i am to have friends like all of you, and i wanted to say thanks for being so awesome! love you all~
